The South Louisiana Paths to Progress Program is a road repair program that began in July 2007 at the recommendation of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.

PROJECT HISTORY
The road to recovery can seem challenging at times, but Louisiana’s greatest asset is its residents and local businesses. As part of this tremendous recovery effort, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Regional Transportation Planning Commission, New Orleans Department of Public Works and New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board have joined together in a coordinated approach to repave roads that were damaged during hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
